Are you suffering from injury, chronic pain, stress or anxiety, or do you just fancy a lovely relaxing massage? I offer a full range of treatments that can help to relieve your symptoms and allow you to really unwind, or try to get to the route of a problem - always looking beyond your symptoms. I use a holistic approach and combine modalities where appropriate.

Therapeutic Massage, incorporating mobilisations and stretches (where appropriate), is deeply relaxing as well as effective at helping the body rebalance itself and relieve pain and muscle spasm.

Deep Tissue/Remedial Massage focuses more on specific areas of tension and injury,  and as the name suggests, works into the deeper layers of muscle.

Myofascial Release can be either incorporated into a Massage treatment or can be a standalone treatment, depending on your needs. If you are unsure then you can discuss this before your appointment or within the consultation.

Scar Tissue Release, as the name suggests focuses on scars! Scars are formed during the body's natural healing process after surgery or injury. The collagenous (denser) fibres of the connective tissue adhere together quickly in order to protect the body. However, these denser fibres can cause adhesions within the facial network (connective tissue) often deep into the internal tissue and create restrictions, often causing seemingly unrelated pain. It is easy to forget that there is often more to scars than what we can see on the surface of the skin - often the injury or incision site goes a lot deeper.

Treatments Available:

I will discuss with you what you would like from your session and tailor the treatment to your needs. Due to the latest Government and Professional Association rules all treatments are now restricted to 60 minutes maximum time in the room. There are french windows which will be open as much as possible (with the use of a screen for privacy) to maximise the air circulation in the room.

 60 Minutes*:  £60

Strict hygiene measures will be in place and there will be a minimum of a 30 minute gap in between patients in order for me to deep clean and air the room. I am not allowed to work on your face at this current time, so there are some limitations to treatments which you will need to be aware of and the centre requests that all visitors wear a mask on entering the building and use hand sanitisers by the door. I also request that you wear a mask while lying face up on the couch and wash your hands on entry to the room and at the end of your treatment. I will be wearing a visor and mask for your treatment so it will all feel a little different but once you are on the couch and closing your eyes you won't know the difference! On booking you will be advised exactly what to do to follow the new protocols and of course I will guide you through as we all get used to this new normality we are going to have to become accustomed to for a little while yet.

When you arrive for your appointment, please call me on 07737 166315 so that I can collect you from the car park and show you to the new entrance direct into the treatment room. Please DO NOT come into the main Wellness Centre entrance.

PLEASE NOTE - Please DO NOT come for your appointment if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19, or if any member of your household is, or you have been in contact with anyone in the last 7 days who has been showing symptoms. You will not be charged a cancellation fee in the interests of everyone's safety. A simple questionnaire will need to be completed within 24 hours of your appointment - the link for this will be included in your appointment reminder which you can then complete online. Should anything change between the time you completed the questionnaire and the time of your treatment then please do let me know asap.

Currently I am only available at Jordan's Courtyard near Ilminster from September and planning on returning to Axminster in the not too distant future, depending on the situation regarding Covid-19.

Sadly I am no longer practicing in Chard due to the very sad closure of the new Ash Hill Clinic.

Bookings can be made online here or you can contact me here if you cannot find a suitable appointment slot, as I may be able to arrange something with you directly outside my usual hours. Payment will be taken on booking - I am afraid I can no longer accept cash/cheques - payment can be made by Bank Transfer or Debit/Credit Card.
