Are you suffering from injury, chronic pain, restricted movement, stress or anxiety (or all of the above!)? I offer a range of treatments that can help to relieve your symptoms and allow you to get to the root of a problem - always looking beyond your symptoms. I also offer Therapeutic Massage treatment for those of you who are not specifically looking for help with an issue and simply want to relax!

I offer treatments at Jordan's Courtyard, Horton Cross near Ilminster which is a lovely space, with free onsite parking.

I also offer limited treatments in rural Buckland St Mary in my beautiful Barn that doubles as accommodation at times. If you like a peaceful, rural valley then this is the place to come, but be warned, it is down a bumpy track, in keeping with the setting!

A bit about me:

I am an experienced Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist, using a range of Massage and Myofascial techniques appropriate to your needs and always take a holistic approach to your treatments with the aim of making permanent changes.

I have a great passion for helping others and I adapt techniques in order to benefit each individual patient - we all have different needs and I believe any treatment should reflect that. I have a particular interest in the links between the mind and the body having also gained a BSc(Hons) in Psychology from Reading University in 2007. Over the years I have trained in many modalities, including Swedish and Holistic Massage, Deep Tissue and Remedial Massage, Scar Tissue Release, Oncology Massage and much more. I also have an Advanced Diploma in Myofascial Release and regularly attend further training courses to continue to enhance my skills. l am also registered with the BCMA.

My other passion is sharing knowledge and inspiring other therapists. I am Director and Head Tutor of the School of Bodywork in Exeter which offers qualifying professional diploma courses as well as Advanced courses for qualified therapists. I teach various courses, and feel blessed to be able to combine two of my passions as my work and provide a support network for therapists. I have also been invited back to judge at the National Massage Championships in London this year, which is an absolute honour to be a part of, witnessing some inspiring work from very skilled therapists from all over the world.

Hygiene Measures for your treatment:

Strict hygiene measures will be in place and the room will be thoroughly cleaned in between patients. I do gently request that all patients wear a face mask for treatments if they feel comfortable to in order to reduce the spread of any infections (not just Covid!) and to protect my vulnerable patients as much as possible. Please be aware that I treat cancer patients who have severely compromised immune systems and so I do my best to help them feel as safe as possible whilst in my care.

PLEASE NOTE - Please DO NOT come for your appointment if you are showing any viral (not just Covid!) symptoms, or if any member of your household is, or you have been in contact with anyone in the last 7 days who has been showing symptoms. The cancellation fee in this instance would be £15 to cover the costs of the room, rather than my time (usually cancellation within 24 hours is charged at the full rate), but should I be able to fill your slot then this will also be waived - the more notice you can give me in this instance is best! I will always try to avoid charging a fee for illness whenever I can.

Bookings can be made online here or you can contact me here if you cannot find a suitable appointment slot, as I offer more appointment slots than those published on my booking system. Payment details will be taken on booking just as confirmation - payment can be made by Cash or Debit/Credit Card on the day of your appointment.

Hand Massage
My back feels better than it has in a long time - looser/more mobile, so I plan to start running again and do the Race for Life in July. It has been a long time since I have felt like exercising!
