Professional Bodywork Training with Louise Mockford

Alongside my clinical practice and my teaching through the School of Bodywork, I offer specialist workshops in Fascial Bodywork (often referred to as Myofascial Release) and Cranial & TMJ Therapy, delivered across the UK and internationally. I providebodywork training for massage therapists, manual and movement therapists, supporting the development of practical skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the body. I work with training schools, bodywork clinics, spas, and professional groups, bringing high-quality, hands-on CPD training directly to your setting.

Training Options

CPD Approved Courses

Choose from a range of CPD-approved and accredited bodywork courses, including training in Fascial Bodywork / Myofascial Release and Cranial & TMJ Therapy. These workshops are designed for qualified massage therapists and bodyworkers who want to expand their skillset and deepen their understanding.

Bespoke Bodywork Training

Training can also be tailored to your specific requirements, including your client demographic, experience level, and areas of clinical interest. All workshops can be delivered at your venue, offering on-site training for therapists or movement teachers in a way that is both practical and accessible.

Teaching Approach

My teaching is shaped by two decades of clinical experience and a deep commitment to ongoing professional development.

I specialise in fascial bodywork (more commonly known as myofascial release) and modern approaches to anatomy that move far beyond traditional biomechanical models. While the term myofascial release is widely recognised, my work takes a broader view of the fascial system and the body as a whole.

My teaching supports therapists to:

  • Understand the body as an interconnected system

  • Move beyond routine-based treatments

  • Integrate fascial bodywork and myofascial release approaches into clinical practice

  • Explore the relationship between physical symptoms, emotions, lifestyle, and lived experience

  • Develop confidence through understanding and embodied practice

Workshops are practical, hands-on, and clinically relevant, designed to support real-world application.

What You Can Expect

  • High-quality, in-person bodywork training

  • Small group learning where possible

  • A supportive and inclusive teaching environment

  • Practical skills you can apply immediately in clinic

  • A balance of theory, touch, and professional development

My aim is to support therapists in building sustainable, confident, and effective practices.
